Facundo Pellistri donned a Manchester United shirt for the first time in a competitive fixture for the Under-23s last night.
Neil Wood’s side got their first win in their Premier League 2 campaign after beating Everton 2-1 thanks to a stoppage time penalty.
Ethan Galbraith stood up and scored in the 97th minute to add to Anthony Elanga’s second half equaliser as United came from behind to win the match.
Pellistri played well on his debut but Everton’s players made sure to leave a mark or two!
The Uruguayan was subject to a number of crippling tackles but it’s clear with his quick feet that he is able to move in and out of tight spaces with the ball.
His pace was also clear to see on the night.

Pellistri is likely to get more minutes in the youth team before making his first team debut, but it’s always a positive to see signings like this join the club because their ceiling can be ridiculously high.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wouldn’t have signed Pellistri if he didn’t have high hopes for the youngster.
