Facundo Pellistri will have a few bruises tomorrow morning.
The Uruguayan made the move to Manchester United on deadline day and although he was signed for the first team, he’s playing for the U23s against Everton tonight.
He’s shown some nice flashes so far, but Everton’s players have been keen to welcome him to English football with a couple of knocks.
The tackle below was arguably the worst on Pellistri as he uses some nice foot work to beat his first man before running into trouble.

Manchester United’s U23s are currently trailing by a second half goal.
Hopefully the lads will be able to take something from the game tonight with over 20 minutes remaining.

with all the talk from media personalities about Pickfords challenge on Van Dyke, I wonder if there was a card for this two footed reckless challenge? Referees need to do more to stamp out this kind of dangerous fouls. Lucky United won 2-1. Heavy handed tackling always comes back to bite.
