Manchester United and Newcastle United are currently embroiled in a tense and physical affair at the Sports Direct Arena with both sides level at 1-1.
United came into tonight’s game with the weight of the world on their shoulders after an abysmal 6-1 thumping to Spurs last time out piled the pressure on manager Solskjaer.
After naming a much changed starting 11 to the one which faced-off against Jose Mourinho’s Spurs before the international break, Solskjaer knows he is in desperate need of his Reds stepping up to the plate and taking all three points tonight.
The sides head down the tunnel and into the break all square at 1-1 after an opening Luke Shaw own goal gave Newcastle United the lead after just two-minutes.
However, the Magpies were unable to hold onto their shock lead after club captain Harry Maguire popped up with a bullet head from a corner just before the half-hour mark.
In light of the side’s first-half performance, fans have taken to their social media to express their thoughts.
Undoubtedly, the United faithful will be hoping the Reds can come back after the break showing the same kind of energy and enthusiasm as they showed during the first 45-minutes.
Frustrating. Like usual. End of the seasin gave us hope. Beginning of this one burried us.

Bad luck in opening two mins but definitely not playing badly.
We’ll go onto win this 3-1 but hope to see DvdB and Telles in the second-half.

A bit of an overreaction for that starting XI which was followed by that Shaw own goal. However, since then we are way much better, the lads need to keep working on that.

Terrible start, but gradually got into the game with Mata impressive. Great header by Maguire to equalise and we are unlucky not to be ahead at half time.
