Gary Neville is in sheer disbelief at the state of Manchester United’s current side.
Speaking to Sky Sports after watching his beloved club lose 6-1 to Tottenham Hotspur, Neville reacted to the player’s dire performance.
“They have not helped themselves today,” Neville said.
The players, Neville says, “were pathetic” as more questions pop up surrounding the boards lack of activity until now in the transfer market.
Neville believes the players want support and better recruitment — but today their reputations took a hit.
The former club captain doesn’t hide away from the bigger problems at Old Trafford either.

They’ve not recruited efficiently and will be seen rushing around the market on deadline day. Again.
