Luka Jovic just missed an absolute sitter in Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Valladolid.
The Serbian who looked like one of Europe’s hottest prospects prior to his transfer to Real Madrid, scoring goals galore on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt and gathering attention from the world’s biggest clubs. It was Benfica who financially benefited from Jovic’s transfer.
However, it became clear last season that Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane didn’t fancy Jovic. The Daily Star suggest he could be on the move before the transfer deadline — with United being his preferred destination.
Stretty News understands a move to United is unlikely, but Jovic could be en route to AS Roma if he is to leave the Bernabeu in this transfer window.
Scouts won’t like seeing his miss against Valladolid. It’s far from convincing!
