Patrice Evra slams Manchester United hierarchy in 20-minute heartfelt rant

Patrice Evra has issued a heartfelt statement regarding the state of Manchester United.

Fans are growing increasingly fed up over the lack of transfer activity this season, but penny-pinching has always been a method used by the Glazers, who take funding out of the club for their own gain rather than invest.

The club is still paying back its debt from the Glazer takeover in 2005.

Saturday’s 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace was unacceptable but fans could see it coming. United finished third last season and you won’t convince many that the squad looks much stronger going into the new campaign.

The only signing has been Donny van de Beek from Ajax and that’s not enough to bridge the gap at the top of the Premier League table. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still needs a centre-back, left-back and right winger.

Evra has had enough.

The Frenchman took to Instagram this morning to post a 20-minute long video where he speaks about United’s board. Or, in Evra’s exact words, ‘the damage that has been done since Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill left the club’.

The former Manchester United speaks out (via Instagram) because he doesn’t want to lie to fans, who already know these people (employed by the Glazers) are ruining our club.

Is it time more former United players spoke out?
