(Video) VAR drops double clanger but De Gea heroics in vain

Manchester United’s number-one David De Gea came to the rescue after Premier League opponents Crystal Palace were awarded a more than dubious penalty late in this afternoon’s match.

Palace were awarded a penalty after Victor Lindelof seemingly handled the ball despite it being fired at him from close range whilst running back to prevent a cross. Never a penalty.

United keeper De Dea did save Jordan Ayew’s penalty effort after a lazy run-up however despite De Gea’s heroics, a toenail being off the line meant the spot-kick was ordered to be retaken.

But do not forget, United get all the decisions and there is a clear bias towards them.
