(Video) Patrice Evra talks about Wilfried Zaha and Moyes’ daughter rumours on Sky Sports

Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has recently let it slip that Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha once had an affair with ex-Reds manager David Moyes during his brief spell with the club.

Zaha, 27, joined United from Palace in 2013 in a move which cost the Reds £10.58m, as per TransferMarkt and was legend Sir Alex Ferguson’s final signing.

After Ferguson’s retirement, successor Moyes took charge at Old Trafford and consequently Zaha found himself sold back to Palace just two years later.

The rumour mill was in full swing at the time suggesting that Zaha fell out-of-favour with Moyes due to an affair with his daughter.

The rumours were never confirmed or denied, but speaking ahead of this evening’s game, former United defender turned Sky Sports pundit Evra made a cheeky reference to the rumours.

Presenter Kelly Cates was quick to remind viewers that there was never any context added to the claims.
