When you have Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes in the same attacking line-up you’re going to score goals.
Ronaldo scored twice against 10-man Sweden on Tuesday to take him to 101 international goals for Portugal.
The 100-mark was broken before half-time when the former Manchester United midfielder curled in a free-kick from 25 yards out. Sweden’s goalkeeper Robin Olsen was left stranded as the ball dipped over the wall.
The winning goal – as Portugal won 2-0 — saw Ronaldo net his 101st international goal of his career.
It came in the 72nd minute as Bruno Fernandes switched the play with a long diagonal ball forward to Joao Felix before passing to Ronaldo.
The Juventus man took the opportunity to shoot from distance and made it 2-0.
