Manchester United are edging closer to securing Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek after a £40m transfer was agreed between both clubs last night, as per ESPN.
van de Beek, 23, is set to become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing of this summer’s transfer window after the Dutchman seemingly turned down interest from Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur and agreed to join the Reds, as per The Mirror.
As the talented midfielder nears Old Trafford it has recently been claimed that if the Reds can get the deal over the line by Friday this week he will be able to avoid COVID-19 quarantine rules.
