Marcus Rashford sends heart-warming gesture to young Man United fan

Marcus Rashford is a class act off and on the pitch.

Not only is he one of Manchester United’s biggest stars right now, at the age of 22, he’s also standing up and providing a voice for vulnerable children across the UK by forcing the government into a U-turn when they changed their mind about offering meals to families during the summer months.

It definitely wasn’t the time to stop sending meals — we’re in the middle of global pandemic — and if kids rely on school meals, how can a country turn their back on them when there’s already so much wealth and people living comfortably as it is?

This had led to Rashford making the front cover of British Vogue magazine and it pictures him as an activist. It goes without saying he’s a player we are very proud to call our own.

Rashford has gone the extra mile again and this time he’s made a young fan feel special.

Joshua, whose mum sent Rashford her son’s school project profiling the United academy graduate, has been acknowledged for his good work and tidy handwriting.

Good lad Joshua!
