Manchester United youngster James Garner is set to spend next season out on loan with newly relegated Championship side Bournemouth.
Garner, 19, has been with United as he has developed through the academy stages with his most recent promotion coming last season after making his senior debut against Crystal Palace in February 2019.
Despite his limited first team opportunities this season, having featured only five times for the senior squad, Garner has impressed in the Premier League 2, racking up a tally of 10 goal contributions in just 18 appearances.
The next stage in the teenager’s development looks set to be a loan move away to the recently relegated south coast Bournemouth, as per The Sun.
According to reports, Garner was also the subject of interest from Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday, however, Bournemouth are believed to be winning the race for the youngster.
The Cherries’ top-flight fate was sealed on the Premier League’s final day last weekend and having recently parted company with long-term manager Eddie Howe, as per Sky Sports, Bournemouth will be hoping to get back to the big time as soon as possible.
