Jadon Sancho to be a Manchester United player by the end of the week

Another positive headline concerning Manchester United’s pursuit for Jadon Sancho.

This time the update comes from Miguel Delaney of The Independent, stating that the feeling on all sides is that a deal will be struck in the next few days that will see Sancho move to Old Trafford in a British record transfer.

Delaney has stuck his neck out by stating Sancho himself is confident of being a United player “by the end of the week”.

It is noted that negotiations between the two clubs have accelerated in the last 24 hours, so we could just be days away from a big announcement.

United will hope a transfer can be finalised soon after Dortmund set their own deadline for August 10. They’ve made it clear they will not sell after they return to their pre-season training camp.

The Reds are said to be highly conscious of this and they’re willing to get it done.

Personal terms with Sancho and his representatives are all agreed, so it’s down to the clubs to sort this out now. Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano had a similarly positive update for United fans today as seen below:
