Manchester United legend Gary Neville has made a stunning claim that youngster Mason Greenwood is his former club’s best striker.
Neville’s claim comes ahead of United’s crucial final league game later this afternoon against fellow top-four hopefuls Leicester City.
Greenwood, 18, makes manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting line-up in a role which he has become familiar with since the league’s restart earlier last month.
The young attacker is in fine form having scored 10 goals in just 11 league starts. Greenwood’s impressive campaign has the footballing world sat up taking note which has drawn comparisons to the likes of Wayne Rooney and Ryan Giggs.
Neville believes that Greenwood is the best striker at United and expects the youngster to grow into the number nine position within the next two seasons.
