Manchester United’s Portuguese Magnifico Bruno Fernandes has won the Premier League’s player of the month award for the month of June and matches a legend’s record.

The award comes just after Fernandes broke a truly astonishing league record which saw him become the first player in history to contribute to 13 goals in his first 10 games.

The 25-year old has endured an absolutely fantastic break-out season since his arrival in England back in January earlier this year scoring seven goals and assisting a further six.

Not only has Fernandes bagged this month’s Premier League award, he’s done it in emphatic fashion which sees him replicate one of football’s true greats.

Fernandes has become the first United player since none other than Cristiano Ronaldo to win back-to-back Premier League player of the month awards.

Being a United fan has become exciting once again as talk grows of the Reds mounting a serious title challenge as early as next year.

Fernandes will be keen to help his side fast track their ambitions as his United side look to be headed in the right direction at last.

Congratulations to our Portuguese Magnifico on his latest award – it’s tough to keep up!
