Manchester United have extended their impressive unbeaten run to 16-games in all competitions after seeing off Bournemouth in a thrilling 5-2 victory.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits today’s performance was one for the fans and emphasised Mason Greenwood’s potential, calling the forward a ‘very, very talented boy.’
Solskjaer watched on from the empty stands as his side put five impressive goals past Eddie Howe’s desperately struggling Bournemouth.
With goals coming from Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Bruno Fernandes and two from Greenwood, Solskjaer was clearly very happy with his side’s performance overall claiming that there was ‘will and intent’ among the players.
Addressing the fact that his side have now broken into the league’s top-four, Solskjaer is remaining calm at the prospect of qualifying for Europe’s most illustrious competition reminding fans that their side must see every game as just another game.
The Reds take on Aston Villa away on Thursday as they continue to mount pressure on their top four rivals.
