Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named an unchanged Manchester United starting XI to face Bournemouth at Old Trafford this afternoon.
The Reds have a great opportunity to put pressure on their top four rivals with victory over Eddie Howe’s side that are currently languishing in 19th in the Premier League table.
Solskjaer appears to have found his best team at United and it is pleasing to see some continuity in his selection after such impressive victories over Sheffield United and Brighton.
As noted by the Manchester Evening News, this is the first time a United manager has selected an unchanged line-up for the third consecutive Premier League fixture since 2006.
Sir Alex Ferguson named the same team in four consecutive victories in October/November 2006 with an imperious side including Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Wayne Rooney.
United have performed brilliantly in their last two league outings and its encouraging to see the same team feature again with plenty of promising partnerships beginning to form.
