Reports are circulating that Manchester United are keen on signing Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso.

The midfielder was thought to be the best thing since sliced pan when he was at Lyon in 2017, but a transfer to Bayern Munich followed and I don’t think many Bavarians think his switch has gone as planned.

Tolisso has had his struggles with injuries and at 25, the France international may look at moving on again to resurrect his career. But he’s not exactly at the peak of Bayern’s pecking order either — making just 15 Bundesliga appearances across the last two seasons.

Whether or not you believe the reports, they stemmed from a tweet via RMC journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi, but there is no article about this on the publications website… Surely his employer (RMC) would rather he revealed such news on their website first?

I know I would.

Anyway, we are not here for that. United get linked to an array of players every day and the transfer window will be open shortly.

It’s worth nothing that former Manchester United defender Rafael Da Silva caught wind of the transfer speculation linking Tolisso to United, and took to Twitter praising his ex-Lyon team-mate Tolisso.

Apparently he’d be perfect for United…

Do you agree with Rafael and think Tolisso would be a good signing for the Reds this summer? I have my doubts.
