It’s not long now before we get see Bruno Fernandes back in the red of Manchester United….
The Portugal midfielder was totemic in United’s unbeaten run of 11-games before football’s suspension and we hope he can have a similar impact when the Premier League returns as the Reds face Tottenham Hotspur next weekend.
In the meantime, United’s social media accounts have been providing us with plenty of training footage which has only added to the anticipation amongst the fanbase.
One clip, that was posted a couple days ago on Fernandes’ Instagram account, was this delightful chip over reserve goalkeeper Nathan Bishop during a shooting drill.
Fernandes jokingly apologised to his teammate with the caption ‘“Sorry @nathanbishop30″, and we have no doubt that he would have embarrassed more United players during training sessions in his short time in Manchester.
The video has now been released by the club, giving fans yet another reminder of their new midfielders supreme quality.
Fernandes is likely to play a crucial role in United’s hopes of securing a top four finish with nine league games remaining. We hope he can strike a midfield partnership with Paul Pogba who is now back to full fitness after an ankle injury.
