Video: Bruno Fernandes’ stunning free-kick in training with brilliant Juan Mata celebration

It is now under three weeks until we get to see Manchester United back in action when the Premier League resumes.

The Reds have been stepping up the intensity of their training sessions ahead of the mouthwatering opening fixture away to Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad are now allowed to engage in contact training drills, and will be looking to impress with a view to being selected in the Norwegian’s starting eleven.

One player who will almost certainly be in United’s team is the totemic Bruno Fernandes, who has revitalised the mood round the Old Trafford since his transfer from Sporting Lisbon in January.

United’s official Youtube channel has been releasing some interesting training videos, giving fans an insight into what is being worked on at Carrington.

And there was time for some free-kick practice for Fernandes, who was taking set-pieces using a full-sized goal as a wall.

The ‘Portuguese magnifico’ found the top corner with ease before reeling away and finding Juan Mata to celebrate with.

Surely its only a matter of time before Fernandes finds the net from a dead-ball situation in a game.
