Football agent Jim Solbakken welcomed Joshua King back as a client in an Instagram post on Sunday night.

In recent years the Bournemouth forward has been represented by Chris Welbeck, the big brother of ‘Dat Guy’ Danny, but he’s back with Solbakken now which is bound to fire up more transfer speculation.

If a player changes an agent, it’s usually a clear sign that he expects something to happen. It is thought that Manchester United’s failed attempts to re-sign King left the striker feeling very disappointed, and unless Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does a deal to sign Odion Ighalo there could be room for the Norwegian star up north.

According to Sky Sports, the Red Devils are one of four Premier League clubs looking to sign King this summer. The player and his new agent, Solbakken, both have a strong relationship with Solskjaer.

King is 28 and I think United fans will warm to the idea of taking him back if the club can strike a cut price deal this summer.

Now he’s working alongside Solskjaer’s preferred agent for such matters, I feel this is a transfer rumour that is worth following over the coming weeks or months.
