This Monday I am enjoyed by former ManUtd.com journalist Nathan Thomas on the Strettycast.
We chat about his time at Old Trafford and what’s he up to now after going another route into the world of careers — away from journalism and sport.
Thomas opens up on some of his responsibilities as a reporter for the club and a funny story about how one former player became impatient and left an event early, only for Thomas to carry his clothing bags around while trying to get that said player to cooperate rather than leave.
I found it interesting to hear Thomas’ experiences with David Gill, who got him a job at the club, and Ed Woodward despite only meeting him once.
Believe it or not, Thomas started writing for Stretty News before he got on the payroll at United. He gives us some insight into the mood at Old Trafford when results weren’t going out way and the club decided to pull a previous podcast attempt which he was part of!
Hopefully you enjoy it too.
