Jadon Sancho showed his blistering pace on the counter-attack as he provided an assist to ensure Borussia Dortmund ran out comfortable winners against Wolfsburg on the second round of fixtures upon the Bundesliga’s return.
Manchester United target Sancho again started on the bench for Lucian Favre’s side, but made an immediate impact upon his arrival.
The 20-year-old winger sped away from an onrushing Wolfsburg defender before laying on an assist for Achraf Hakimi to secure the three points for Dortmund.
Many United fans are desperate to see Sancho move to Old Trafford and join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s revolution this summer and it’s clear to see why.
He is the perfect solution to the lack of width on the right-flank and would complete an extremely exciting front three with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
Sancho now has 14 goals and 16 assists in the Bundesliga this season.
Manchester Evening News report that United still see the England international as an attainable target this summer despite the transfer uncertainty around the coronavirus pandemic.
