The Manchester United players are back at their training ground Carrington this morning, according to Manchester Evening News.
The players arrived a short time ago ahead of their return to training amidst all professional sport being halted earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under strict sporting guidelines set out by the Premier League, players from all clubs will be expected to train in small groups as well as ensuring maximum social distancing is practiced throughout all sessions.
It was reported less than 24 hours ago that no member of the Manchester United staff, players included had tested positive for COVID-19.
At this moment in time, the Premier League has been unable to set a definite date for competitive league games to recommence. However, with many top flight managers suggesting that players will need atleast four weeks of vigious training to recover from the sport’s hiatus, it is likely games will not be played for atleast another month.
Manchester United’s first fixture upon return is set to be against Tottenham Hotspur. With the race for the prestigious top 4 wide open, the Reds will be keen to ensure they return to action in top condition.
