Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has spoken to Sky Sports from his home in Manchester.
Solskjaer accepts that Pogba has had a difficult season — missing month’s worth of football — but he will be back fit when football resumes.
The boss now has many options in midfield with Pogba’s return and it’s exciting as we move forward. I spoke to our Patreons (£) this morning about Real Madrid’s cooled interest in the Frenchman, so it will be interesting to see what happens in the future.
“Good players can always play together,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports when asked if Pogba and Bruno Fernandes could work in the same team.
There is also some good news for Rashford, who suffered a nasty stress fracture earlier this year.
The boss is quoted as saying, “For them two, this gives them a chance to start on a par or even ahead of other players if and when we get going.”
