Man United’s transfer stance on Dean Henderson amid Juventus and Chelsea interest

Manchester United will not entertain permanent offers for in-form goalkeeper Dean Henderson in the summer transfer window.

Henderson has been thriving on loan at Sheffield United this season, his second consecutive loan spell in South Yorkshire.

The 23-year-old has arguably been the best goalkeeper in the Premier League this term and was pushing for a starting spot for England at the European Championships before its postponement.

And according to ESPN, Chelsea and Juventus have shown an interest in signing United’s academy graduate.

However, United will resist any offers for Henderson with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeing a path into the United first-team for the talented ‘keeper.

David De Gea will remain in between the sticks for the foreseeable future but Henderson has been identified as the probable long-term option.

Therefore, United may sanction another loan move for Henderson as he continues to earn his stripes before hopefully getting the chance to become the number one at Old Trafford.

Henderson has a contract until 2022 but United are said to be considering offering him fresh terms to acknowledge his value to the club.
