Lots of footballers are spending periods of their self-isolation on social media.
It’s the easiest way to interact with fans from quarantine and it’s the most popular tool used these days to discuss sport.
Romelu Lukaku went live on Instagram on Thursday to speak to his fans and his ex-Manchester United team-mate Nemanja Matic tuned in.
The Belgian was joined by Thierry Henry and didn’t take any notice of the message left by Matic.
The Serb subtly commented: “Shut up Romelu”

No context, Matic just said it 😂 pic.twitter.com/Nvos9YpqSn

We’re sure this was just light-hearted humour, but Lukaku left United under a grey cloud.
Lukaku’s behaviour during the summer — especially on the pre-season tour — would have annoyed some players, but some obviously kept their heads down and said nothing.
Who else has told him to shut up in the past? Quite a few I’d say.
