What Kevin De Bruyne said about ‘unbelievable’ Man United transfer target

Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has had his say on Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.

De Bruyne trained with Sancho briefly before he left the Etihad for Germany in 2017, but never actually featured in the same team as the England international.

The 20-year-old is arguably the most talented young player in world football and has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

And despite his links to City’s rivals, De Bruyne was quick to heap praise on the generational talent.

“He is crazy, De Bruyne said on an Instagram live, as quoted by the Metro.

“It’s weird, I trained a few times with him and he was gone. Unbelievable. Sometimes it goes like this but it is good for him. Now if you want him you have to pay… I don’t want to know!”

Manchester United should be prepared to break their transfer record for a player of Sancho’s quality.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to sign a natural right-winger this summer to complement Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in an electric front three.

Sancho fits the bill perfectly with his combination of flair, pace, vision and finishing ability. He is a player Solskjaer can focus his long-term rebuild at Old Trafford around and would be a fantastic coup for the Norwegian if the club can seal the transfer.
