Dimitar Berbatov believes Jadon Sancho ‘wouldn’t think twice’ about making the switch to Manchester United this summer.
The Borussia Dortmund starlet is expected to leave Germany and his next destination is likely to be the Premier League. And according to ESPN, the 20-year-old is leading target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.
Sancho is probably the most exciting young player across Europe so there will inevitably be plenty of interest in his signature.
He has scored 14 goals and contributed a further 15 in assists in the Bundesliga this term and is the dream signing for many United fans.
Former striker Berbatov thinks Sancho would be drawn in by the lure of Manchester United and would be a great signing for the Reds.

“This week there’s been a lot of talk about Jadon Sancho moving to Manchester United, in his case, because he’s English and Man United are in for you, I don’t think he will think twice about moving there,” he wrote in his Betfair column, as quoted by Manchester Evening News.
“I have said it before, he has the quality, the pace, the goals and the assists to play for them, I’m sure he would like to continue in the national team as well and Gareth Southgate will watch him more if he is playing in the Premier League.
“For me, if they get him he is going to be a great addition but I’m curious to see how they would line up.”
In terms of the lineup, there is not much Solskjaer would need to change with the arrival of Sancho. The England international offers the perfect solution to the lack of width on the right-flank.
Sancho would provide more balance to Solskjaer’s 4-2-3-1 system, by allowing full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka to concentrate on defending. Solskjaer’s options that have been operating on the right-flank, whether it be Mason Greenwood or Juan Mata, instinctively drift inside whereas Sancho would hold his width.
A front three of Sancho, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford is an exciting prospect for United next season.
