Oh my word, Odion Ighalo…
Manchester United’s on-loan striker has fired Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side into the lead with a wonder strike against LASK in the Europa League last 16.
Ighalo was handed a start by Solskjaer in place of Anthony Martial who was ruled out of this evening’s action with injury.
And the Nigerian forward has once again delivered for his boyhood club.
With just under half an hour on the clock, the January signings linked up to score what was a special goal.
Bruno Fernandes fed Ighalo with a lovely flick, who controlled brilliantly before firing a left footed effort into the top corner beyond a helpless goalkeeper.
What a shame the game is having to be played behind closed doors so travelling fans couldn’t witness the strike live.

Ighalo’s arrival raised several eyebrows amongst United fans, but his addition was necessary to provide more options in attacking and he has been a revelation under Solskjaer.
It’s refreshing to see a player who genuinely loves the club and is willing to give his all for the team. But in Ighalo we have also seen some added quality.
Many United fans wouldn’t be averse to the club making the deal for Ighalo permanent this summer.
Bruno and Ighalo. What great signings they've been already man. Would love Ighalo to stay on after the loan if things keep going as they are.

And we have to give Ighalo back. Can’t we keep him 🥺

I’d keep Ighalo as 3rd choice ST. United still need conpetition for Martial in that position but maybe can wait another season. Must get a RW, another attacking mid and a DM before

This is why I keep saying keep Ighalo around, I don’t care about his wages, he’s a brilliant back up to allow other attackers like Martial to rest and he loves this club, what a finish 🇳🇬#MUFC #Ighalo
