3-0. Clean sheet. FA Cup quarter-finals. Nine games unbeaten. 22 goals scored.
There’s plenty for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be optimistic about after their comfortable progression into the FA Cup quarter-finals.
The United boss made six changes to his side this evening, striking a balance between having enough quality for victory and keeping one eye on Sunday’s pivotal Manchester derby.
And it couldn’t have worked out much better, with United strolling to victory thanks to goals from Odion Ighalo (2) and Luke Shaw after an errant first half hour.

Solskjaer was afforded the luxury of bringing Bruno Fernandes off relatively early as he prepares for City at Old Trafford.
The Portugal midfielder was admittedly not at his best this evening, but the Reds still look an infinitely better side with him operating in between the lines.
But the United boss was delighted with tonight’s match-winners, Ighalo and Shaw.
The Reds face Norwich City at Carrow Road and are one game away from the semi-finals at Wembley.
Listen to the manager’s post-match thoughts, courtesy of BT Sport:
"Luke is getting better and better, he deserves it."
"It's great to have Ighalo, a different kind of striker."
