With fears over World War III and coronavirus hitting the media over the past year, it turns out the world isn’t completely evil as Liverpool have lost a game in the Premier League.
Watford stunned Liverpool to pull off a sensational 3-0 win on Saturday which ended Jurgen Klopp’s hopes of going the entire league campaign unbeaten.
Hurray!
It turns out the letter that 10-year-old Manchester United fan sent Klopp worked — asking the Liverpool boss to stop winning games, but it was Watford’s doing yesterday. The Scousers haven’t looked their high-flying best lately but the league title is theirs sadly.

United legend Gary Neville took to Twitter to share his delight after seeing Liverpool fall to the Hornets.
The former club captain posted a video of himself popping a bottle of champagne to celebrate the great result.

We are all guilty of being a little small-time every now and again. Liverpool are worthy winners of this season’s Premier League but there’s no denying that it’s going to be a bitter pill to swallow.
I’d celebrate if Liverpool lost every game regardless of where United are in the table — and their fans are lying if they say they wouldn’t do the same.
Sadly they have had more reasons to laugh lately.
