The Premier League announced on Thursday that it will introduce an official Hall of Fame, which celebrate the best players the league has been graced with since 1992.
It’s been announced that the first two inductees into the Hall of Fame will be revealed on Thursday 19th March.
This award is recognised as the highest individual honour which ca be awarded to a player that has played in the Premier League.

Unsurprisingly, the news has prompted a huge reaction on social media with many fans debating which two players will first be inducted.
Manchester United have had a plethora of Premier League greats and will surely feature heavily in the Hall of Fame as more names get announced.
The Red Devils have won a record 13 titles since the Premier League’s inception in 1992 and surely the boss who guided the club to that success, Sir Alex Ferguson, will be the first manager inducted into the hall of fame.
Unsurprisingly, Ryan Giggs features heavily in United fans’ picks, but there are also notable mentions for the likes of Roy Keane, David Beckham and Eric Cantona.
Who do you think should be inducted into the Premier League’s new hall of fame.
One player who should be in The Premier League Hall of Fame, has to be David Beckham.
He may not have been a playmaker like Scholes or the mercurial talent of Cristiano Ronaldo.
But there’s never been a better crosser in United’s history or set piece specialist.

The first footballer inducted in to any premier league “hall of fame” should be Ryan Giggs & that’s not even debatable #MUFC #Giggs #Legend pic.twitter.com/UaUnfcXjHW

The first two people added to the Premier League hall of fame have to be either Ferguson and Wenger OR Shearer and Giggs.
Anything else is wrong

If I don’t see Ryan Giggs as one of the first inductees in the Hall of Fame, then the League is finished.
