While Manchester United fans used yesterday’s FA Cup fourth-round hammering of League One Tranmere Rovers to again voice their anger with the club’s owners and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, the club’s official Twitter account opted not to make those parts audible when sharing a video of the game’s best bits.
Of course, they do their best to manage what callers say when ringing MUTV’s phone-in shows, cutting off any fans who mention the Glazers, Woodward or the word ‘debt’.
United scored five times in an amazing first-half at Prenton Park, with captain Harry Maguire, Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial all getting their names on the scoresheet before the break.

The fans spent chunks of the game chanting against the Glazer family and Woodward, who was not at the game — possibly in Switzerland with Avram Glazer searching for a new shirt sponsor.
Mason Greenwood scored a second-half penalty as United won 6-0.
The youngster even caught a roll of toilet paper while celebrating.
It was a comfortable victory, and we’ve not had many of those this season.
