Rio Ferdinand was feeling ’embarrassed’ after Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat against Burnley at Old Trafford.
Sat in the BT Sports Studio, Ferdinand criticised the state of Man Utd’s squad after years of bad recruitment.
This puts more pressure on United’s executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, who received more criticism earlier this week when Gary Neville called for his sacking.
BT Sport have shared Ferdinand’s analysis on the full-time whistle.
"I don't see a £600m squad out there! What has been bought?!"
"I'm sitting up here and I'm embarrassed!" 😩

We all know it’s going to take time for United to heal after years of bad recruitment and ownership.
But with the current structure and owners, we can’t see anything changing which is depressing for fans who spend their hard-earned money on going to games.
Something has to change — we’ve been saying it for ages!
