Rio Ferdinand was feeling ’embarrassed’ after Manchester United’s 2-0 defeat against Burnley at Old Trafford.
Sat in the BT Sports Studio, Ferdinand criticised the state of Man Utd’s squad after years of bad recruitment.
This puts more pressure on United’s executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, who received more criticism earlier this week when Gary Neville called for his sacking.
