It remains 1-0 at Anfield after Virgil van Dijk’s opener.
The rules out the game are simple unless someone complicates them.
An outfield player cannot tackle a goalkeeper and that’s what happened today at Anfield as Liverpool had a goal ruled out against Manchester United.

The video below, as per NBC Sport, shows a Liverpool goal by Roberto Firmino ruled out because of a foul on David de Gea.
We don’t know why referee Craig Pawson needed VAR to see that Van Dijk fouled De Gea.
However, before VAR ruled out the goal, De Gea had words with Pawson.
As the photo below shows, De Gea was not very happy with the official, who made the wrong call initially.
Not only did he make enough conduct for Pawson to give a free out, Van Dijk is also blocking the Spaniard’s view of the ball.
Good call.
