Daniel James receives ultimate praise from Man Utd teammate for his crossing ability

Daniel James has played well in his first season at Manchester United. His introduction to the team gave further proof that the Red Devils are lacking a centre-forward who feeds on crosses.

I think Romelu Lukaku would have scored loads of goals from James assists. It’s a shame the pair never got to play together at Old Trafford, but Marcus Rashford recently made use of the Welsh winger’s crossing ability in the 4-0 victory over Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

It may explain why Man Utd are linked with so many strikers after missing out on Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker looks lethal inside the box, and we’ll be watching him closely at Borussia Dortmund.

Anyhow, the official MUFC Instagram account has shared a picture of Rashford and James, along with a question from the former on what it’s like to play with his new teammate.

“I like his deliveries,” Rashford said. “He takes his time and doesn’t just cross it. He lifts his head up and tries to pick you out.”

That’s the ultimate praise a winger can get from a forward.

Expect Rashford to score more goals from James’ crossing this season.

The England international has already scored 19 goals across all competitions this season.
