Team News: McTominay returns to matchday squad, Man Utd without Martial

A mixture of good and bad news for Man Utd ahead of tonight’s Premier League clash against Tottenham.

Scott McTominay has been pictured with the matchday squad (via Manchester Evening News) after missing three games due to an injury.

However, it is unclear if the Scotland international will be able to last a full 90 minutes, but it’s a relief to hear he’s back in the squad and could start against José Mourinho’s side.

The Red Devils have struggled massively in his absence and there has been calls from fans to drop Andreas Pereira who, along with Fred, has been a disaster in United’s midfield offering little to nothing.

The past month has shown McTominay’s importance to the side and how far he’s come in the past year!

Unfortunately though, Paul Pogba is still not ready to return and has been left out of the squad with an ankle injury. At least he can continue working on his basketball skills

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer must also deal with the blow of being without Anthony Martial again. The French forward misses out with an unspecified injury but hopefully the manager will give an update on that before kick-off.

Meanwhile, The Sun claims Solskjaer could opt fort a back-five following Martial’s injury.
