Manchester United’s game against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Sunday promises to be a tough encounter.
Newly promoted Sheffield United sit fifth in the league table after an excellent start to the league campaign. Chris Wilder’s side have taken points from Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham so far this season and will be high in confidence for Sunday’s clash.
United are one point behind their opponents in seventh, but should fancy their chances to make it three consecutive wins after the convincing 3-1 victory over Brighton at Old Trafford before the international break.

Sky Sports pundit Charlie Nicholas has made his prediction for Sunday’s game, and also expects a challenging game for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
United’s front three of Daniel James, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial have all been in excellent form as of late, but Nicholas believes they could meet their match in the form of Sheffield United’s back three.
“It will be another feisty game,” he told Sky Sports.
“Sheffield United will go after and squeeze Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as much as they can. The back three are very good at what they do but John Egan has been one of the players of the season. The others have been great but he is calm, aggressive when he needs to be and gets his teammates into position – they are well-organised and drilled.
“For that reason, I think they will get a draw.”
Nicholas thinks the Reds will get a 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane, but Solskjaer cannot afford to settle for any less than victory with United already 9 points off fourth position.
