Scott McTominay tops list as five Man Utd stars run over 100km in PL this season

Scott McTominay has covered the most distance of any Manchester United player so far in the Premier League this season.

The midfielder has been an ever-present in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad, and unsurprisingly comfortably tops this list.

McTominay is a bundle of energy across the park for the Reds, and has been one of Solskjaer’s standout performers in the opening 12 league games.

Unfortunately, the 22-year-old is a doubt for Sunday’s game against Sheffield United after having to pull out from the Scotland squad because of the ankle injury sustained in the victory over Brighton at Old Trafford.

New signing Harry Maguire is next on the list to have covered over 100km of distance; the England international often likes to make driving runs from defence.

Andreas Pereira is often criticised for his final product on the ball, but there is no doubting his work rate off it. The midfielder plays an important part in Solskjaer’s high pressing game so it’s no surprise to see him on the list below:

Top five for distance covered (via ManUtd.com):

Scott McTominay 130.88 km
Harry Maguire 112.24 km
