Paul Pogba is on the road to recovery after having his ankle cast taken off this week.
The Frenchman has been absent since United’s 1-1 draw against Arsenal on 30 September where he aggravated his ankle injury.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have coped well without their star midfielder, winning five of their last six including Sunday’s convincing victory over Brighton.

However, when Pogba does return, Solskjaer will inevitably have to find a player of such quality a place in the starting eleven.
Fred and Scott McTominay have began to form a promising partnership in central midfield behind Andreas Pereira who has been starting in the number 10 position.
While Pereira scored in United’s win on Sunday, there are still question marks around his final product and whether he’s good enough to operate in the attacking midfield role.
Many fans think Pogba should return to the side in the number 10 position as he could help get the best out of front three Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James.

Imagine we play the same type of football when Pogba gets put in the nr 10 role… id say we'll score twice more goals. Pereira is a good player but lacks heavely in the final third. Fred and Scott has been brilliant the last matches. Bankers@footballqueeen @ThereseUTD

100%. Get Pereira out and play Pogba in the 10 role.

Paul Pogba is set to return to Manchester United’s starting XI in the coming weeks. This man should play in the #10 role with McTominay and Fred behind him. Would be the perfect role. 🇫🇷 pic.twitter.com/ruGAK9RMGN

Would love ole to try Pogba as a a center attacking midfielder when he's back from injury Fred and Scott seem to doing OK behind the number 10.#MUFC_FAMILY pic.twitter.com/MTivOOBJ3v

I have no problem with Pogba playing at no.10 when he returns. We're not exactly blessed with quality options in that position.
However, if he is picked to break up the blossoming Mctominay and Fred partnership, Ole will inevitably have questions to answer. Guaranteed.
