(Video) Man Utd target scores with predatory finish for Dinamo Zagreb in Champions League

Manchester United target Dani Olmo scored his third Champions League goal of the season for Dinamo Zagreb against Shakhtar Donetsk last night.

Yevhen Konoplyanka scored in the 16th minute to give the hosts the lead in Ukraine.

But it was Olmo, formerly of Barcelona’s academy, who produced a superb predatory finish to equalise for Dinamo.

According to The Sun, the Dinamo ace was identified as a transfer target by United during the summer, after his brilliant displays for Spain’s U21s during their success in the European Championship earlier this year.

Olmo’s strike made it 1-1 heading into half-time, as seen in the video below (footage from RMC Sport 3), but the game finished 2-2. Dinamo went ahead after the break but weren’t able to hold onto the lead.

Elsewhere in Group C, Manchester City came from behind to beat Atlanta 5-1. The Blues currently top their group with a 5 point gap between them and Shakhtar Donetsk and Dinamo, whilst their opposition from last night have yet to earn a single point.
