Loads of Man Utd fans urge Solskjaer to select young star against West Ham

Manchester United fans want to see Mason Greenwood start against West Ham on Sunday.

The 17-year-old proved the difference in the narrow Europa League victory over FK Astana last night, scoring the only goal of the game.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has described Greenwood as the most natural finisher at the club, ahead of the likes of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford, and his strike was the only real moment of quality at Old Trafford.

The Reds squandered a hatful of chances on the night, but Greenwood’s first senior goal saved United’s blushes against incomparably weak opposition.

Anthony Martial remains out for Sunday’s clash against West Ham due to an injury after sustained in the home defeat to Crystal Palace.

The Frenchman’s absence should mean Greenwood is in line to start his first Premier League game of the season with Solskjaer now light on attacking options.

If Solskjaer does select the youngster, it will most likely be on the right-wing where he has operated in his brief appearances in the league so far this campaign.
