Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher hilariously analysed their defending in Vincent Kompany’s testimonial at the Etihad last Wednesday.
The testimonial saw Manchester City Legends take on the Premier League All-Star XI which ended as a 1-1 draw, but Kompany ironically missed out due to a hamstring injury.
As part of their usual Sky Sports duties, the two pundits broke down their performances on Monday Night Football and mocked each other’s defending.

Neville admitted that his marking was “poor” and ex-Liverpool player Carragher mocked his fellow pundit over his bad defensive decisions, which is fair game given they are often critical of mistakes made by current Premier League stars.

The former Manchester United captain was at fault for the opening Man City Legends goal, scored by Martin Petrov, though he would put that blame of the positioning of Carragher and ex-teammate Michael Carrick.
Shortly after, Neville pulled his hamstring and had to be substituted.
