Wales manager Ryan Giggs has stressed that Daniel James is at the right club to develop into an even better footballer over the coming years.
James has been in fine goal scoring form at Old Trafford this season following his £15m move from Swansea City this summer, scoring three goals in his first four appearances for the Red Devils.
United legend Giggs expects the fellow Welsh winger to thrive at his new club, a footballing institution with a track record of helping young wingers blossom into superstars.

“He’s at the right club – a club which loves wingers,” Giggsy was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail. “We’ve all seen what he’s capable of in the last eight or nine months and he’s going to get better and better.”
As well as the guidance from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his coaching staff at United, James is sure to learn a lot whilst away on international duty with Wales. Giggs has been there and done that – the most decorated player in English football history.
James has shown in his brief time at the club that he is a player capable of getting the fans off their seats. The importance of width in creating dangerous situations remains, even if the position is considered defunct in some formations used by teams nowadays.
His top-flight career is only four games old but James has made an instant impression at United. His debut goal against Chelsea was an emotional moment at Old Trafford, knowing he sadly lost his father before arriving at the club this summer.
Everyone here is behind the young lad and he’s got the best of guidance available to him.
Viva Dan James!
