Patrice Evra and Ashley Cole could be considered the two best left-backs in Premier League history, and they’ve been working together to get their coaching badges after both players hung up their boots this summer.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea full-back officially announced his retirement last week, as per The Guardian, and stated his next role would be in coaching.
It’s a big step for anyone to make whether they played football all their life or not. You see Gary Neville become an excellent pundit after a stunning career, but he still wasn’t quite cut out for the Valencia job.

But ‘Uncle Pat’ is looking to go down the same route as Cole by taking to the touchline and training ground.
The Frenchman shared an Instagram post with Cole, wishing him all the best with his future in coaching and a happy retirement.
Let’s hope Evra can look up to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in a few years as the most successful player to become a manager after playing under the great Sir Alex Ferguson.
