Former Manchester United midfielder Kleberson has give his views on new signings Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James.
Both have made promising starts to their United careers, each making their competitive debut in the 4-0 thrashing of Chelsea at Old Trafford.
Wan-Bissaka contributed to a clean sheet with a solid defensive performance, as James took the headlines with his dream debut goal to round off the win.
The Reds finally have a right-back who is defensively sound, but Kleberson believes that Wan-Bissaka still has things to work on to become the complete full-back.
“I think Aaron Wan-Bissaka has still got things to improve on but he’s a solid defender, you can see he has quality, but it was his only his first game. A lot of players prepare well for their first game but we need to see how he does for the upcoming games,” the Brazilian told Your-promotional-code.co.uk as quoted by Manchester Evening News.
Kleberson also praised Welsh winger Daniel James; the youngsters raw pace suits manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s style of play perfectly.
“Daniel James has impressed me. It’s good to see a player like that who is very fast in the Premier League. If you are direct and quick in this league, you can help the team pick up a lot of points. That’s how the Man United fans want their team to play, direct in attack and creating plenty of opportunities,” he added.
Wan-Bissaka and James are both likely to feature in United’s trip to Molineux to face Wolves on Monday night, which promises to be a tough test for Solskjaer’s men.
The Reds need to carry on their early momentum in the league and a victory over Nuno Espirito Santo’s side would give us great confidence to build on.
