Danny Higginbotham believes Romelu Lukaku’s impending exit to Inter Milan is a good deal for Manchester United.
Lukaku is set to join the Serie A side in a £70m plus add-ons deal, as per the Guardian.
The Belgian international is set to sign a five-year contract at the San Siro and will earn around £300,000 per-week.

Higginbotham explains that as a traditional centre forward, Lukaku does not fit manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s style of play involving pace and movement in attack.
However, what can’t be forgotten is that Lukaku was a proven goalscorer that still needs replacing.
Regardless of whether Lukaku fits into Solskjaer’s system, the attack is still made weaker by his departure and the Reds surely have to target a new forward on the final day of the transfer window.
With the fee for Lukaku around £70m, there is no reason United can’t use the funds in order to find a replacement.
According to the Evening Standard, the Reds have reignited their interest in Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic as Solskjaer seeks one more arrival before the transfer window shuts.
