Tottenham Hotspur look set to sign 19-year-old Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon, despite reported interest from Manchester United.
The Telegraph report that Spurs have made a breakthrough in negotiations for Sessegnon, who was relegated from the Premier League with Fulham last season.
Sessegnon is expected to cost around £20m with just one year left on his current deal at Craven Cottage.
It is believed that the Reds were interested in signing Sessegnon, who is still seen as one of the most talented English prospects despite not being able to shine in the league last campaign.

However, the report claims that Tottenham Hotspur has always been the youngster’s first-choice destination.
It’s unclear how hard manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer pushed to sign Sessegnon, but it is unfortunately easy to see why some young stars would prefer a move to Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettinho has built something special at the club, and has already proven his ability to develop some young English stars while playing attractive football. Factor in Champions League football and the stunning new stadium, it’s clear to see why Sessegnon wanted a move to North London this summer.
Meanwhile, United still have business to do with under three weeks of the transfer window remaining. So far, only Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James have been brought in and at least one midfielder and central defender are still needed for the Reds to compete next season.
